Allergy Policy
We take allergies seriously and follow clear procedures to keep every child safe.
First Step is a Peanut and Tree Nut Free Zone due to severe allergies.
- All children with allergies must have an Epi-Pen and OTC Medication on site with an IHCP on file.
- An allergy log will be posted in each classroom with children’s names and known allergies.
- Children with allergies will be monitored at all times during meals.
- Teachers will always use disposable gloves to serve food.
- All children and teachers will wash their hands before and after every meal.
